Have you checked that the pollen filter isn't filthy and blocked?

Wiring to heater motor can overheat and melt connecting plug. Motor is up under N/S centre console, accessable from behind glove box.

Don't need to remove dash. Motor can be taken out quite easily from passenger side footwell. There is 1 screw fixing motor in place. Remove it and motor will twist and remove (like a bayonet light bulb)

Thanks it is easy to get to now I see. The plug that powers the motor is even easier to get at so will test that first to see if amy power is getting to the heater blower.

It's around the edge of the motor where it connects to heater box.

On my heater blower there was no screw. I ended up taking out the glove box in order to get two hands and the fan motor. It twists clockwise to unlock it.
It is easier to do this with the glove box out.
The fault is not with the blower fan as I tested it to a battery and it span so now to look elsewhere for the fault.
