I have been back and forth to the garage for ages with the same problem with my roof not opening or closing. I have read this web site and worked out the problem was with a the microswitch on the pull out luggage shelf. I had that changed and still had a problem and could not operate the roof without going into the boot and wiggling the luggage shelf microswitch. My usual garage eventually shrugged their shoulders. I took it to a garage in Leeds that sells and repairs Peugeots and they said it was the sensor in the boot. If the boot wastnt slammed hard enough (which it shouldnt need) the car thought the boot was open and wouldnt open or close the roof. They cleaned the sensor up and it works like a treat.

Its the first time I have used this garage and I took it for a service and MOT. They only charged me an additional 20 quid to sort the roof problem out. I cannot vouch for them as i have only used them once but I was pleased with the result

Thanks for posting with your feedback Sue, others in the area may find this useful. Glad you got to the bottom of your roof problem and for a reasonable charge at that. Now all we need is some good weather!
