I need lambda sensors

I need new lambda o2 sensors front and rear ones,can anyone advise me on what to get and where from,pleease,

How do you know? We have lambda sensor problems which was actually a blown exhaust pipe ... replaced the exhaust from front to rear and no more sensor faults ...

Dying battery can also throw up faults that aren't there ...

What engine 1.6 or 2.0?

Good friend who is an experienced mechanic,however,ill run it past him first,but if hes checked that already do you know what and where for sensors and what about cat?oh and 2.0SE 02plate

I bought a complete exhaust from online-automotive .. you will need a type-approved CAT.

As for lambda's the cheapest option is to find the Bosch Universal that fits and splice them into the existing cables ... follow the instructions carefully ... that was you don't pay for the cable and connectors! I did think on my Alfa a few years ago and it's been fine ever since. You don't even need a soldering iron .. just something to cut ans strip the cable ends.

If you look on the bosch website it should show you part numbers ... then hunt around on the web as I did as I found them cheapest at a Vauxhall parts outlet ...

Avoid cheapo ones from fleabay at all costs .. 99 times out of 100 they fail soon after or aren't quite right and cause more problems than they are worth.
