Hi guys!
I work as a car audio fitter and i had a 53 reg 206 cc in today/yesterday. It was in for me to install a cd player, which i had to wire it up to a switchable ignition for it to switch off when the key is pulled out. After that 3 minutes i went back out to the car and the front headlights were on, the rear lights wasn't. They central locking stopped working and had to open it with the key, after i got back in the car the lights on the dashboard were flashing. Any idea's what that could be so i could rectify the problem with the customer's car.

Did you disconnect the battery? If so did you use correct method?

Hi col,
No the battery was still connected. The method that i used was using what we call "Piggy Back Fuse Holder"
I hooked it up one of the fuses that switches off with the key.

That car is canbus, so anything connected to the fusebox can cause strange faults such as this.
Can you use a euro adapter to the factory fit plug on original head unit?
