Hi Everyone,
I got into my 2001 206 CC yesterday, started ignition, and both drivers side windows went down by them selves and now wont respond to their switch. The passenger side windows respond normally, and the roof functions as normal (only with a quiet beeping when going up and down). When pressing the drivers window button, i cannot hear any 'clicking' or noise.
I have looked at the fuses under the steering wheel and they all seem fine (although i wouldnt know which would serve the windows) and i have also looked in the boot at all the wiring on the left hand side under the vertical carpet section, and everything looks fine.
So i was wondering if anybody had had this problem before, or knows of a previous thread? I have seen a BSI reset suggested in the past, but apparently didnt work.
Many thanks everyone,
Ollie

Re: Windows stuck down!
I have seen this before when it was caused by bits of crisp or other foodstuff getting in the switch. Take the switch out and see if you can connect R/H windows to L/H switch to see if it is the switch.
Cheers Col.
