Hi all,i'm new to this site as i've just got a 2004 2ltr 206cc Allure. On doing a more recent check of the car i noticed that the wrong size battery was fitted and soon died after getting it home,i checked the owners manual if there was anything specific routine that had to be done to the roof mechanism before changing the battery and followed the manuals instructions,so i replace the battery with the correct one.The roof worked perfectly (although slowly) before the battery change.
Now when i unlatch the roof catches i hear the bong but when i try to lower the roof i get a constant bleeping and nothing else happens, the windows don't go down nor the roof, the boot slide cover is in place.I've tested the boot slide cover and boot closed micro switches and they seem to be ok.I've read other peoples posts of similar problems.Does changing the battery now mean that the roof ecu has to be re-programmed with Peugeot Planet 2000 or changed?
Please,Please,Please can someone help, and if so is there anyone in Leicester who can reset the ecu other than Peugeot

Re: bleeping roof
There is a procedure to follow when changing the battery. It's on here somewhere ... You need to run a search or two
