windows catch on roof when closeing doors

Post by Artherdaily »

hi there new around here
just got a 51 reg 206cc today
its got a few minor issues, all easy fix's
but ones already getting my goat
on both doors, when you close the door, the window catches on the roof, so does not seal properly and we have to lower and raise the window to make it seal against the car
the window is only just catching on the gutter channel at the front, and is doing this on both side

is there anyway to adjust the window stop so it stops fully closed 2 mm lower, and that would solve all the problems

Take the door panel off, and you can see the window mech has slots on the fixings so you can re-position them a bit.
Cheers Col.
