I've changed the left rear sensor for my 2005 cc Tiptronic and still the light is on but I felt the difference as before changing it the gearbox wasn't functioning well while shifting up and also down when breaking.
Should I clear the fault first using pp2000????

Re: ABS light still on after changing the sensor
You still have a fault somewhere. If you had fixed the fault the light would go out after a while and the fault code would still be stored but as historic, not current.

Re: ABS light still on after changing the sensor
I don't know what to do.
I changed the sensor and cleaned the magnetic hub using wd-40 and still the light is on.
I'm afraid that this fault will cause problems to my automatic gearbox.

Re: ABS light still on after changing the sensor
There's your problem then. You have changed left rear and code says right rear.
Change the other one now.

Re: ABS light still on after changing the sensor
Fault is probably in wiring to sensor. Is the code still the same? If it is, check the wiringwith a meter.
Cheers Col.
