Hi
I've recently become happy owner of a bright red 206cc HDi Allure with 05 plate and 73000 miles on the clock. I bought this car as an economical replacement to my beloved 1999 Peugeot 406 3.0 V6 auto coupe. I think the diesel 206cc is the best vehicle purchase I have made in 30 years! (I have named it 'Chicken'). While it obviously hasn't got anything like the raw power of the 3.0 V6, it has much more than its fair share of torque and is quite nippy. At 4,5 l/100km (62 MPG), I'm using half the fuel I used to the 2x50 mile commute I do most workdays.
No doubt the Pug 206cc has it's share of persistent generic problems that I will encounter over the next few years, but if this forum contains the wealth of technical guidance that the 406 coupe one does, I'm sure to be a regular visitor and will contribute if possible.
First project: Chicken's audio system is . . .uh . . . fairly rubbish.
Best Regards
John

Welcome to the forum John. Make sure you read your owner's manual thoroughly, then you'll avoid the self-inflicted problems that many new owners impose upon themselves, particularly with the roof.
