auxilliary belt tensioner

Post by willyduck »

I have a problem with the auxiliary tensioner. There is no square hole to relieve the pressure - only a very small round hole - can anyone advise how to relieve the pressure.

Thanks for your advice but there isn't a square hole there - don't know why. Managed it with a lever. Did it Saturday a.m. Cheers

Some have a hexagonal hole in the front plate of the tensioner near the mounting bolt.
