Pollen filter

Post by Thomo »

Help please, my girlfriend has an 02 206 CC 2.0 and the pollen filter needs changing. Trying to order one on ebay and they are saying there is a difference if the car has air con which hers does - is this the case? Fairly new to this so any help is much apprenticed thanks

As far as I know ALL 206cc's have aircon. Why not get it from Peugeot or a Motor Factor? - they'll check the part against the registration plate.

And I'm pretty sure there is no difference between a/c and non-a/c.

Try eurocarparts or carparts4less and put in different 206 models.

Just tried our CC and HDi hatch ... Same part number.

Getting hacked off with so-called "parts distributors"on fleabay.

I wanted a new dipstick for the CC: dealer was actually cheaper than nearly all the fleabay sellers and I picked it up next day.

I had a look at the MANN filter site ... found my HDis filter and checked what it also fitted .. every model of 206!

There are TWO types: I think one is plain paper and the other may be a charcoal-particle filter ... I've always used the former as they are cheapest and easest to get.

There are two types, active charcoal for a/c, plain paper for non a/c, you can use either but the active charcoal is supposed to stop smells from a/c system

Just wanted to say a big thank you for your help - think it's going to be a long journey getting the car back into the condition it should be - next is the rust and holes in the seals at the top of the doors!!

thanks again
