hi all just got a nimrod as a spare what colour silver is the orginal silver on nimrods ? cheers in advance :D

I bought an alloy wheel repair kit and the paint in that was very very close to the original ... and they are lacquered too.

Pretty sure it was this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ETECH-E-TECH- ... 35cbd7ff5a (although might not have been that seller!) but I can check later when I put the car away ... I had to buy extra silver paint as I did two wheels (inside and out) and the one can isn't enough so I'll check what I bought.

Extra spray cans are Halfords own brand ... ;-)

think il try and get the paint made up from a colour scanner just thought someone may no the code/colour cheers all

Gazza, in hindsight, would you say that the kit is worth the money, or would you just recommend going straight to Halfords?

Kit gives you all the tools to repair minor nicks (filler, files, etc) and paint is OK ... I had to do two wheels so one spray can wasn't enough. Took a punt on Halfords and it was same colour ...
