As I said on Speedboys forum, how come Peugeot had made such a fundamental error?

I couldn't get my rod into the boot and only just managed to fit it in the passenger side without getting it chopped off by the folding roof.

Phew- I thought for one moment I was going to have to buy one of the nasty little telescopic rods.

roof down, just leave it hangin out from the back seat. Msg for other drivers that you are goin to do some serious fishing with your CC.  .

I have to take my Golf Driver out of the bag for the boot. Would have been happy if the boot is 30cm longer.

Won't the rods stand up in the opening between the two rear seats?

Actually Vince I was saved when I realised I could just about get the fishing rod to lay vertically from the passanger side foot well against the seat and door.

I even managed to get the roof down by stowing the carp seat in the boot with the tackle boxes and maggot bait etc on the back seats - phew.

Whoops- anyone seen maggots?

Last time I saw them was in the back of me Pug. Better not tell the girlfriend.

the only way of doing it is by tackling down really lightly!

had to do some weed dredging yesterday then get back in to my cc, needless to say there we're bin bag liners everywhere....can't dirty that car up now!

You're carp get a seat in the CC? Now if that isn't dedication to fishing, I don't know what is!
