Don't die on me baby!!!

Hello. Have a 1.9 peugeot on 51plate, and at the same time as the cat/exhaust going and since being replaced. The old girl has developed a belt like squeak that dose not seem to be coming from timing belt or water pump. Takes a minute after starting before squeak happens,and seem to be coming from top or back of engine.. Any ideas?? Cheers
