That's ok. Yeah I'm struggling now to find the EXL panels. I'm very keen to contact any yards who may have the parts I need.yorkielassy wrote:Hi ov
Just realised the parts I have are exy and not exl but there is a scrapyard I know who have most of the parts you need and can post them to you. I will PM you the details.

Thanks, I'll email him nowgazza82 wrote:You could also try pug206cc-spares on ebay .. they break CCs (and normal hatchbacks).
Front wings, bonnet, bumpers, inner wings, front lights are same ... doors, rear wings and rear lights are CC specific.

Re: Replacement parts and advice please
UPDATE:
So after a few months of saving up I've just taken delivery of a door, a wing and a bumper. All from Ebay. Wing £20, Bumper £35 and door £80 (all including postage). Ordered a new number plate for £7.79. I'm going to try take the damaged parts off and replace them with these on Monday (week off).
It won't show on the photo but the door has a slight bend where it was presumably dropped in transit. Under the bump strip on the left of the door. It is bent downwards slightly and the paint has cracked along the crease line. Can I just bend it back carefully with pliers (with a towel on the jaws so as to not mark them) and use touch-up-paint to fill the gap? Or is there a better way?
I'm now after the Black EXL wing mirror and a new driver's seat in black and red leather (the airbag went off on the side). Anyone have these parts?
I'll keep you all posted on progress.

If you have never done body work , there is a strong likelihood that you will make it worse and therefore more expensive to repair professionally
I'm now after the Black EXL wing mirror Think you will find it's only the clip on bit on top that is colour coded.and a new driver's seat in black and red leather (the airbag went off on the side). Anyone have these parts? You only need the airbag not a whole seat.
I'll keep you all posted on progress.

Re: Replacement parts and advice please
Another Update:
Ok, so I took off the old (damaged) bumper, wing and door and put on the replacements. Even though I ordered all the panels in black EXL, they sent me the wrong door in black EXY Anyway, the panels are on. The OS fog/spot light was smashed in the crash, as was the OS wheel arch liner, so I went to my local scrap yard with my tool set and took off the two parts (£5 each).
The tyres were all old, worn and perished (and two were now flat), so I ordered a set of four Yokohama BluEarth AE01 195/55 R15 H (85) Fuel Efficiency (C) Wet Grip (B) Exterior Noise (69dB) for £232 delivered from blackcircles dot com. Got them fitted and balanced through a mechanic mate and they look great!
After reading Capncol's advice about the airbag, I decided to replace just the driver's seat airbag rather than the whole seat! I took off the old one (a bit of a faff with all the upholstery clips and foam to get out of the way) and added a new one to the list of things to get from the scrapyard. I also needed a wing mirror but they are about £60-£70 on ebay, which is almost as much as I paid for the door!
At the scrapyard I took off the seat airbag I needed but (unsurprisingly) couldn't find a 206cc mirror! There was the plastic triangle (I'm calling it the base plate) from a CC but no mirror. My fiancé (the one who crashed the car) noticed that the 206 mirrors looked similar but with a different base plate, so we took the base plate off the CC at the yard and a whole mirror from a regular 206. We also got a few extra bits (badges from the back, wing indicator unit to replace the smashed one) and took the whole lot to the guy at the counter. We paid £35 for the lot (including the airbag), which I reckon is a bit of a bargain!
Back at the car we fitted the airbag fine, fitted the wing indicator and looked at sorting the OS mirror. The only salvageable parts from ours was the colour-coded cap. We took all the mirrors and base plates apart and put the 206 mirror on to the CC base plate. It took about an hour with working out what to do and all the little screws but it went together with no problem and certainly saved a load of cash! Result!
So the car is very nearly done now (will get a pic up when I go back to it in a few days). New wing, door (temporary until the seller sends us the right black one), bumper, number plate, fog light, wing indicator, wheel arch liner, airbag, wing mirror and four brand new tyres (with the best wet grip level I could find) all for £432 (£232 of which was the new tyres). Not bad at all!

Re: Replacement parts and advice please
Oh, I forgot to ask, even though the new driver's seat airbag is fitted, every time you start the car a warning light comes up on the centre console thing and and airbag light is illuminated in the dash. I was optimistically hoping that the car would recognise that the replacement airbag hasn't gone off and the fault would go away! (obviously not).
Does anyone know what my options are for getting rid of the light/warning? Judging by the searches I've done on previous posts I guess I need a local forum member with the right software on a computer to sort/clear the codes. Anyone here in the South-East of England? I can travel to Kent, Sussex or Surrey no problem.
If there's no one near me, will it cost a lot to clear the code at a main dealer/mechanics? As you can tell from my previous posts, I'm not up for spending much money (unless it's on safety items like tyres, of course)!
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated,
Thanks all, Ov

Re: Replacement parts and advice please
You will need the crash data removed from the airbag module. Not sure if PP can do that. It might need sending to a specialist crash data removal company.

Mirrors in scrappys are like rocking horse poo!!

There's a write up on here by Enright about how to mix and match normal/CC mirrors
I had a nice new drivers side mirror fitted at Xmas courtesy of Iceland, they made me take it to a company
called AW Repair and it cost £185 for the mirror and £45 for them to fit it![]()

You might be able to get it done by someone with Peugeot Planet 2000, although I've never done it so can't be sure. Worth a go though.ov24604 wrote:Does anyone know what my options are for getting rid of the light/warning? Try peugeotforums.com and have a look in their Peugeot Planet Map section - you should find someone relatively close.
