Just unscrew.
BTW If you get new plates made, don't forget to take your V5C (logbook) & driving license with you when ordering.
You won't (legally) be able to have the Peugeot badge on the side, only country identifier or Euro stars symbol. You are allowed a small one at the bottom, easiest if Peugeot dealer makes them for this, as it also needs the plate makers id on it at the bottom.

Warm the old stick-on plate with a hairdryer when you try and get it off ... softens the glue ... :)

I got my new set off ebay. I know they are supposed to, but they didn't ask for the V5C or any other ID. I can recommend them, (ebay shop: regdeco) only £11.99 incl fitting kit (screws) and fast delivery.

Have they got the maker id & postcode at the bottom?
Cheers Col.
