Just out of curiousity has anyone who had a leak successfully had it fixed?

I'm still not having any luck

Nor me.

I'd also love to know what percentage of these cars do leak. Are there more that are leak free or more which come with built in waterfalls??

I too would be most interested. Seems from all the reveiws I'm reading and the issues raised here that most leak. Am I right? If so has anyone yet determined the root cause and a way to fix, or is it a design floor that just won't go away?

Cheers

Mine doesn't leak or squeak. Never has.

I think the majority of cars affected were built before October 2000 when a number of minor changes were made to the car.

Mine was built in August 2001 and leaks on the driver's side. Not an early model so must just be unlucky

I got a reply from Peugeot Australia re leaks reported in the article that appeared in Wheel's Magazine's review - as follows

"We are aware of these articles that mention a leaking roof on the 206
cc.

We currently have press vehicles, dealers all have a demonstrators in
stock and we have not reported any roof problems with these cars with
regard to leaking roofs.

The problem seems to be a one off which can be fixed and is currently
being looked into by our technicians. We can understand your concern but
be assured that the 206 cc is a great car in every season of the year.

Kind Regards

Peugeot Automobiles Australia"

Funny that they see it as a "one off" when so many in Europe have had the problem??????

Yes but it is all relative..

How many UK cars for example have suffered from leaks? ie percentage? 1, 2, 10?

Cos if you read this forum then you would think that everyone has the problem..

However, I and others do not...

How many registered users have this problem? 5, 10 or more??

I am not saying that there is not a problem, but how much of a problem it is is something else...

You will get a biased percentage if you've looking in a thread about leaks! I'm sure not many cars do have the problem but that makes it all the more frustrating for those of us that do and can't find a cure.

If they'd told me it was going to leak after rain when I ordered it I might have had second thoughts knowing I'd also have to shell out for a house with a garage!
