206 Indicators-wipers-elect windows/roof

Post by ringergeoff »

206 X Reg 1.1
For some reason my indicators have failed (hazards ok) wipers developed a mind of their own (stop where and when they feel like it) and neither the electric windows nor sun roof will open. Think all other things OK. No meddling has been done to car (other than fuel and fluid checks etc) since last service/MOT in April when all was OK.
Advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Hi Geoff. Have you checked all the fuses?
Cheers Col.

Hello Col, thanks for reply. Yes, that was my first thought so checked them along with a pal. All seem OK. What's peculiar is that some of the things not working or behaving badly, according to the handbook, share fuses with things which still work as they should. Wierd. Thanks Geoff

Hi,

Did you figure out what was up with this as my mates 206 cc is doing the same. Roof and windows aren't working, wipers have a mind of their own and the indicators won't work normally but work on the hazard switch. All of his fuses appear to be in tact and I can't see any loose wiring or plugs anywhere so at a bit of a loss unless his ecu is fried?

Cheers,

Craig.
