a 2004 1.4 cc keeps throwing up a lambda heater fault. On changing both sensors i noticed its not getting 12v to the heater circuit. Does anyone know where to find the fuse for this?
When requesting help of a technical nature, please give as much detail of the fault as possible along with details of exact model, engine size & type, gearbox, year, mileage, and any relevant work carried out to try to solve the problem to help us help you.
Better still, put the details in your signature.
oh ok cheers
I checked for it when the engine was cold, ignition on not running and no voltage, then i checked with engine running, still no voltage. do you know when its supposed to switch on or does it have to be very cold?
It's a square wave signal from ECU, ie fast switching on & off. The on time is varied to control heating. Stops heating when lambda reaches 800 deg C. Power comes initially from the double function relay via fuse 26, but that also controls injection so if it had blown, engine wouldn't run.
