Hello all
I recently had to have a tyre change but the gararge could not find the wheel nut lock key so they had to drill out the locked wheel nut which was not a problem.
I've now found the lock key which for some reason was in my spamspam drawer and if I quote the number on the key, I think it's 4 digits to my local Peugeot dealer, does anyone know if I'll be able to get a replacement lockable nut and how much will it roughly cost....
Thanks guys

Re: REPLACEMENT LOCKABLE WHEEL NUT
Probably just as cheap to get a complete new set from Halfords.
As you probably now know, it's best to keep the key in the car.

My view is that nowadays wheels aren't as desirable as before, and I remove the locking wheel nuts before the inevitable happens and the nut isn't there or worse, it rounds or splits when you try to use it.

Re: REPLACEMENT LOCKABLE WHEEL NUT
Yeah, I agree with rfman. Unless you live in a dodgy area and frequently see cars up on bricks with their wheels missing, probably the easiest and cheapest option is just to get 4 ordinary wheel bolts.
Simply get on eBay and do a search for "Peugeot 206 CC breaking", and then find one with the same wheels as yours. You'll probably only pay a fiver plus postage for 4.
Hang on, what am I saying?!? I've GOT a load of wheel bolts from the 206 CC that *I* broke!!! <slaps forehead>
If you have the 5 spoke wheels, just give me a yell.

Re: REPLACEMENT LOCKABLE WHEEL NUT
Even the most lowly models from any makers come with alloys nowadays, so they do seem less desireable from a thiefs point of view.
