1.4 petrol engine 2002 model
replaced engine as old one the head gasket had failed in a big way, cooling fan had been hard wired in due to main fuse had blown and they couldn't find it?,changed fuse and removed hard wire cooling fran works as it should.
I must admit I did not remove battery cable by BSI procedure
engine starts up fine then as it warms up it misfires and drops down 1 to 2 cylinders then stalls, cools right down starts fine,so seems something is overheating electrically? plugged in and codes read and I have
1.injector control 1 oc sc permanent fault
2.s2000pm1 injector control permanent fault
s2000p injector control
I am guessing its a wiring problem on the injector side? or ECU over heating???? could cat be blocked from old head gasket being gone and oil/water in there as engine smoked and poured water from exhaust but has cleared pretty good?
any help MUCH appreciated,i am stuck with this one
