Oil level display showing empty

Post by alexbillbridgnorth »

Hey

I have a small problem when my car turns on and am worried as the manual says it can do serious damage to your engine. When I start my car most of the time it will show blink that the oil level it perfectly fine and then on some occasions once a week maybe, it tells me I don't have any oil in the car.
Also when I turn my car on for the first 5 seconds the stop light shows and turns off is this normal :hmm:

Thankyouu!!!

Have you verified the level using the dipstick?
Cheers Col.

Hello Capncol

Yes I have. The oil is fine and I only serviced it around 4 months ago with fully synthetic oil and new oil filter. Seems very strange to me. My oil is at maximum on the dipstick!!

:)
