SORTED OUT PROBLEM WITH BATTERY YESTERDAY.ALL PERFECT THEN!
GEAR PROBLEM.WHEN TRYING TO GO INTO 1ST O 2ND GEAR WAS DIFFICULT.WHEN MOVING ALL GEARS OK BUT GEARSTICK VEY WOBBLY WHEN IN ANY GEAR BUT DRIVES FINE ANY IDEAS PLEASE?

It was one of the linkage rods.There are 3.One long and 2 small.One of the small ones had got loose and the rubber was totally worn.Guy at Mr clutch found problem for free.New part from Peugeot dealer £22.
Mr clutch fitted it for £10

Good old Mr Clutch! A lot of people doubt me when I recommend Mr Clutch.

Glad you got it sorted. My daughter had a similar problem on her 405 estate with worn linkage rods. New ones sorted it.
