Roof won't go down
Gone to put the roof down and it won't work it bleeps when I release the catch on the passengers side but not the drivers and when you push the switch to open the roof it just bleeps, I've had the battery disconnected as I had to change it and my husband removed the bars on the bootlid it was all working fine when last used,

Re: Roof won't go down
I thought the microswitch on one of the overhead catches may have stuck, but usually you only get a single "bong" when both catches have been undone rather than a bleep after each one, so I'm confused.

Sorry yes it is a bong which it makes once when both catches are released it has been standing for a couple of months and the battery had gone flat so jumped started it and have turned it over every other day could it be that the battery is to weak to work the roof, when you press the switch for the roof to go down it just bleeps but was fine when last used in May

Re: Roof won't go down
Have you got the blind across in the boot? and have you got the engine running when you try it. If yes to both, I would check the microswitch on the left side of the boot where the blind clips into the hook
Cheers Col.
