Just a quick question.
If the 206cc i get has Aircon, Am i able to install the climate control dash or is it a bit more complicated than just plugging it in.
Thanks

Re: Fitting Climate Control
Pretty sure it's a completely different system behind so not much chance of getting it to work. Besides, that's what the folding roof is for!

Re: Fitting Climate Control
It's possible to change them,BUT you need to change the whole matrix assembly as it's controlled differentlycabrioman wrote:Just a quick question.

Re: Fitting Climate Control
Having just taken the heating matrix apart there isn't much down there to change. I'm guessing it's just the little temperature probe that goes into the matrix?

Every input/flap has to be servo controlled, and many have their own temperature monitors too.
The panel may include the clever programming to change stuff, but it still requires the hardware to control, so you can't just replace the panel and expect it to work.
It would be like fitting an auto gearstick without the gearbox!
To fit the system, the entire dash has to come out to enable the heater matrix to be replaced.
This involves replacing all of the coolant and having the a/c system re-gassed. Then it's likely that you'd have to get the BSI re-programmed using Peugeot Planet so that the vehicle recognises that it has it as an optional extra, otherwise having done all the hard work of replacing it all, it may simply refuse to operate.
It's all do-able, but a bit of a faff.
