HELP!

Post by frankharrison »

Hi guys,
My daughter has a 2003 206cc and the roof has recently stopped working. It worked up until about a month ago. It recognises with the bleeping sound when you push the switch and the screen isn't across in the boot, so the roof switch is working, however when you open the clips to start the roof opening process and use the switch nothing happens, not even the binging sound to tell you that it is starting the process of opening.
After looking we found one of the bolts missing from underneath the roof clip on the right hand side. It is the one that goes vertically up towards the roof. Would this have anything to do with it do you think? We also tried moving the little white things in the boot to a 90degree angle like another post said to do, but this didn't work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, would love to avoid an expensive repair job!
thanks! :)

If the bolt is missing I would replace that first. You might be lucky and find it on the floor in the car.

Be methodical when fault finding and put right what you find to be wrong, or missing. Otherwise you can end up chasing your tail.
