Re: Hi I am new to forums and Peugeot...
sorry about that wrong button.... Tomorrow I collect my first ever Peugeot - a black cc. Having taken it out on a test drive I can't wait to bring it home. Having never driven either a Peugeot or convertible before I am stepping into the unknown but have finally got a sports car again after having had to give up my TR7 for something with room for a baby seat! Just hope the sun is shining so the roof can come down

Welcome to the forum.
Make sure you follow the advise on here regarding the safe operation of the roof, and make sure you read the owners manual. A lot of the problems we see on here are *own goals*!!!

Hello! I'm new to all of this forum stuff - and really don't know where to write a question in order to get help!! My passenger seat is broken - the back won't stay up and is now constantly lying down, I took it to the Peugeot dealer who quoted e £881.00 to get a new set of runners. Needless to say I didn't spend any money with them!! Instead I got some runners from a scrap yard - but when fitted they didn't seem to do anything different to the seat! As my car is green with bright green interior we are finding it hard o find a replacement seat! Does anyone know if we buy a different coloured seat would we be able to swap the cushions from mine over onto the new seat frame fairly easily??

A bit of jiggling of the back, and of the whole seat back and forth may resurrect it.dliddle81 wrote:Hello! If that doesn't work, then there is a little carriage located in one of the seat runners which engages to trip the lock mechanism. It's easily damaged and if it fails then the whole seat can fail to lock in place.
Try moving your passenger seat as far back as possible, then tilt and slide it forward as if letting someone into the back seat. Then the bit I'm talking about should be revealed. Compare that to the one on the driver's side and report back.
