I was driving home the other evening with the roof down and I was thinking how the 206cc is such a good value car and how it really does everything I want. Then I started thinking about how I would make it better and wondered how others would improve theirs. Ignoring actual faults what features or mods would you make?
The ways I would improve the car are:
1. Give it a 6th gear or a longer 5th gear so it does fewer reves at 70mph+
2. Heated seats and/or some sort of air scarf like you find in SLK's.
3. A turbo on the 2.0 petrol engine.
What would you like?

I had to sell mine as space was an issue and really miss it now. I have a 308cc now though and it has all the things you mention, apart from a 2.0 engine. The heat scarf and heated seats came in very handy for roof down rides in this long Winter.
I just wish Peugeot still had them in production as I would love to own another newish 206cc one day, the 207cc just doesn't have the same appeal.

It would be nice if the roof panel could be glass but with some kind of roller-blind.
Oh, and just a bit of rear leg-room wouldn't go amiss!
Wouldn't it be nice if the MFD could be colour and have sat nav?
I think that the newest 207 CC's look nice, but I hate the position of the front foglamps on the earlier ones.
Heated seats is a great idea, (as is cruise control) but might not be so difficult to retro-fit.
I wish you could operate the rear foglamp independantly of the front ones. If someone is dazzling you from behind and you want to let them know, YOU have to dazzle the people in front to do it!

I'm aiming to do a heated seat install soon. Just need to buy a pad and a proper switch and find a good position.

Cruise Control (apparently a very easy retro fit,so long as the option is available in your BSi)

Fit a dip stick on auto boxes. Put lamp in drivers's door panel to illuminate ignition key hole at night (only needed for RHD). Move hand brake lever away from passenger seat (as per LHD cars), so that I can release the brake when I have large passenger. Throw away all computers, and fit a spare wheel.

My hubby used to have a Renault Megane CC which had a full glass roof and had a roller blind to pull across which was great (apart from that it leaked like a sieve!!)Enright wrote:It would be nice if the roof panel could be glass but with some kind of roller-blind.

As for heated seats, I'd never experienced them until I bought my TT. Tried them once and lasted a whole 3 minutes - it just feels like you've wet yourself!!!
I like the idea of the heat scarf though.
