firstly hi to every one as im a new member...
ok my sons 206 sat for about a year.he decided to get it on the road again but it wouldnt sart fuel pump does not start up when you turn it over,tryed multi funtion relay under ecu tryed all fuses and all are ok fuel pump works if i connect it to a live but obvousily it runs contiuosly,and car will start.any one got any ideas please....

Hi Daz & Welcome. What car, engine & year are we talking about? You have only said it's a 206. Is it a CC?

Hi Daz. I'm sure the pump on those is linked to the imobiliser.
I think it's powered from pins 15+16 of the larger plug at the fusebox. What have you got there?

but can start car if i power it straight from bat if i put a live on pump,also today followed pump wire back to fuse box inside car gave it a wiggle and pump fired up to pressurize system but wouldnt start because no spark now,do you have any advice for me getting a handheld fault code reader such as this Peugeot 206 207 306 307 Diagnostic Fault Code OBDII Reader from ebay...thanks

No spark/ no fuel could be related to imoboliser.
Not sure which OBD reader you mean, but a good one will tell you.
Enright on here has PP2000, as do I. He is Nottingham, I am Reading/ Southampton. If that's any good

Peugeot's are a pain on the diagnostics ... and a cheap one isn't probably going to be much good. PSA use a special diag system and it's not ODBII standard. Hey guys I have a problem with my 206 year 1999 litre 1.4 I have had it on the drive for 4 mouths I went to start it and It won't start ( it's not priming ) I checked the fuel pump with a cable straight to the battery ( it primes ) I'm going the check the fuel relay tomoz fuse is fine . I have a Clifford alarm will that affect it

See the above suggestions. Yours is the same setup. The Clifford alarm probably isn't linked to the fuel pump.

Thanks for the quick response I didn't think so just checking could it be a break in a main wire going from the relay the the pump

hey every one i have fixed my 206 its a 1.4 1999 today all day lastnight trying to fined out what was wrong with it toke the pump out cleaned it cheacked the relay nothin the fuel pump would not prime so i had ago again to day looked at the fuse borad dont no what i did but i put more fuse in the gaps were ther was no fuse so i though i will try that so i put the key in and truned the car over (the pump was piming) so yea thank for the help i might be back on again soon as the brake light is not working on the drivers side
