TYres

205/45R16 isn't a common size .. so what make and type do you fit to your CC?

We're currently running on Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's.

Wondering what everyone else fits?

Decided to go for the Hankook's again. £91 each from my local dealer/fitter. (£95 on BlackCircles.)

Daughter had a puncture this morning ... it was then we realised BOTH fronts were stripped on the inner edges. Glad I didn't ask her to run her hand around the tread or it might have hurt .. steel cores sticking out! :censored:

I'd only checked and re-inflated them around end of Dec and they were fine. But three round trips to Plymouth didn't help! I went over the suspension with a pry-bar, etc and found the nearside arm is moving due to badly worn bushes (the from bush has parted with the central bush) and the balljoint looks like it could have collaped. This was obviously the issue and the cause. The rears were replaced about May and are hardly worn. So they are now on front, suspension arm on order and tracking to be booked for later this week.

Note to self: Get daughter to visually check the tyres more often!!

Not got a great set of reviews, especially in wet.

Not a big fan of budget tyres especially on cars with a bit of performance. Plus as my daughter drives the CC I'm tending to hit something that is predictable and safe. Once we've sorted the tracking, I think they will last a lot longer!

not had any problems with them, infact i would put them on a par with the toyo proxy's that i used to have, i wouldn't say they are budget at £60 each and after a year (7k miles) they still have 6mm of tread.
