Evening all my wife has had an 55 1.6 Diesel allure 100,000 miles, only got it end of december and had a few small niggles replaced like FAP filter, dealer we got it from paid for it generously. However we have a small issue that does not affect driving but is annoying and i wondered if anyone could help.
When the car has been running and warm, when it slows down and the revs are dropped coming to a stop we have a single beep, car still runs and i ahve noticed oil light and stop sometimes flicker on...
any ideas greatly appreciated.
Gordon

Re: Beep
Sounds like low oil pressure when oil is hot and thinner. I presume that you've checked the oil level is ok? Is the correct grade of oil being used?
If so when did it last have an oil and filter change? - it may be due again.
If recently done was a genuine Peugeot oil filter used? If not replace the filter with the correct Peugeot one. Some aftermarket ones have been known to collapse causing the symptoms you describe.

Re: Beep
If the oil change was done by the Peugeot main dealer I find it difficult to believe that they wouldn't have replaced the oil filter with a genuine one at the same time. No one in their right mind would do that.
