(its the one where the pin pushes up and forces the arm down)
Now my query is can i get away with finding something that will substitute the arm?
I was thinking a split pin chopped down to size and fitted securely to the switch or something along those lines.
what i need to know is as the arm has fallen off was that wired up inside the switch or is it just a moving part?
i have popped into maplins to find a full replacement switch but had no joy.
Has anyone on here bought a full switch? if so where?
I approached someome on ebay recently and they say that the parcel shelf has 3 switches all wired into the harness, surely if only one of mines broken i wont need the lot?
Any help is appreciated, and if needed my car is the 2003 plate 1.6 manual petrol version. the roof has previously worked just fine, i think its when i had to carry lots of loose items to the dump something has knocked it
