206cc Rattly Rattle Vibrating Noisy Exhaust Manifold Repair

Hi

This will help some of you guys n girls out and save you some money
The 206cc exhaust manifold was rattling on cold start and sounded awful whilst driving til engine up to operating temperature.. i removed the header exspansion tank first then from underneath undone the exhaust manifold to exhaust down pipe circular clamp, axle stand under the catylic of exhaust and removed the clamp. Next undone all the exhaust manifold nuts and then the exhaust engine rocker cover lots of 10mm bolts and then youl be able to easily remove the exhaust manifold from the engine bay.
Now looking down the outlet you will see four tubular flutes/passages for the exhaust gases to exit through, you need to use a little 1" Ata disc and a needle roatary file to grind all the faces of the flutes and the inner outer bore where the flutes meet the outer exhaust manifold and weld with either with tig or mig in a cross fashion and then the flutes to the exhaust manifold inner round face... this is turn will hold the flutes solid and no rattling at all on start up once refitted

Make sure you prep well and clean and tig gives a better strong weld
