I'm having some problems with my car , it won't start, it's been happening for the last couple of days but managed to get it going but today it just won't start. I've had my battery tested and my alternator tested and they said they are both fine. People are saying to me it could be the cold weather, could it be?? Also I've Only had this problem when it's cold cuz it as been fine before we had this cold weather!
(By the way we currently have 6inches of snow on the ground lol)
How old is the battery? This weather does sort out the batteries that are past their best. The colder the weather the harder batteries have to work.

I brought my battery bout a year an half ago i brought it from halfords it's a calcium battery which comes with 4years guarantee. I did take it back to halfords Thursday and they checked the battery and said it was fine and asked to keep my car overnight and see if it was the starter motor but I needed it the next day so I couldn't. Do you think it could be the starter motor?
Really need a bit more info than "it won't start" You haven't even said it's a Peugeot.
Does it crank? at normal speed?
Any warning lights?
Service history?
Age?
Model?
Mileage?
??

No warning lights have came on at all. The past few days, first thing in the morning it has been struggling to start it judders for a bit then cuts and then I turn the key again and it struggles for a couple of seconds then it starts and when it starts it runs smoothly throughout the day. But this morning it just won't start, tried a couple of times now. But this has only started since the weather as been this cold. So I was wondering if this was happening to anyone else.
