Alarm or no alarm?

Hi Guys,
Firstly let me congratulate you on a great forum :)

I've just taken delivery of my first 206 it's a 1999 1600cc. It came with just one key that operates the central locking & starts the engine. How do I know if this car has had a factory fitted alarm from standard?

I've got a few other electrical questions but I'll save them for another time ;)

First of all I would like to say congratulation for buying a new car.
I think the capncol is right you should Check the Handbook for all the blurb or check to the mechanic they know which model have alarm or not.

or if your really lazy check on service box tells you all about your car when it left the factory
