206cc roof not working

right this is what is happening roof isn't working just beeping all the catches are down and rear shelf is in position also windows don't go down by the roof switch but when i put the windows down by the window switch they work find just this annoying beeping sound when going up and down also tested the continuity of the micro switches found 1 bad 1 so just bridged it but still no look any help would be really appreciated thanks

No good just bridging- you need to change it. The ecu relies on the correct opening/ closing of the switches to know where the roof is in the cycle.

but even if i bridged the micro switch (G) shouldn't it do something till it got to that point in cycle or wouldnt it

That switch is telling the ecu the boot is open.
The only one you could bridge would be "H" (boot blind) The rest have to open & close within a certain time frame or else ecu assumes something in the cycle has stuck or not reached the correct point for the next part of the operation to continue, so if it sees one switch wrong it will error.
