Air-bag

Post by hemz »

Hi,

I'm currently fixing the wife's 206cc which was involved in an accident. Passenger airbag, passenger seat air bag and both front seat belts have gone.

I have replaced them all, but was wondering how to get rid of the light. I have an obd reader but it doesn't allow me to delete the air bag lights.

Have been told to send the air bag ecu off to a specialist to clear it. is that true or is there any other way of doing this?

Do i also have to replace the crash sensors and airbag ecu?

thanks

Crash data has to be removed, or a new airbag module fitted. Sending it off is the cheapest option.

Where are the crash sensors located and how many are there?
