Hi guys,
Just picked up a 206 cc , but having a few problems with the roof ,
It seems to be opening and closing ok bit I'm not getting any "bong" noise at the end of each cycle , just a constant beep , also the windows drop with the roof button on opening but on closing I have to use the window switches , is this the correct procedure ,
Any ideas on where to start ?
Cheers
Dave

You have to put windows up yourself. Did you buy trade? Warranty?

Got it from an auction , it's really dirty so my first thoughts were dirty contacts etc but I see from looking through the forum it's quite a common fault , just need to know which way to tackle it , I.e do I try resetting all the modules etc or just focus on certain ones

Right guys ,
I've give the car a good wash today and I've noticed that the boot lock doesn't unlock with the central locking, you have to unlock it manually , it does lock on on central locking though !!
Would this have any bearing on the roof problem ?
If not then that's something else I need to look at anyway , any ideas on why it locks but doesn't unlock ?
Cheers

The boot lock is working correctly - that's how it's supposed to be. It is designed that way.
