Permanently adjust Headlights for use in Europe

Hi all,
Apologies if this has been asked before but I could not find anything using the search....

Anyway, i intend to leave, and register, my 2003 CC in France. First thing I need to do get a CT (like MOT) certificate. I suspect i will need to permanently adjust the headlights as my current defectors will not be sufficient to get me through the test.

Does anyone know if existing UK spec headlights can be adjusted, or will I have to get new, European spec units?

guessing it be new headlights, better off looking on france ebay or something site like that over there, watch out for funny sites in uk selling these as european cos sometimes there not!!
