Basic Original Radio keeps asking for code

Right we have a 206 1999 V plate with orginal radio and 6 cd changer we have the code for the radio but after we get outta the car and go to where ever ie the shops, then return to the car we have to keep inputting the code in order to get the radio on.

Is this normal to keep inputting code every time you get back into the car????
Is there a way to not do this every time but still have radio on??

sounds like it losing its permenant live supply to keep the memory alive. poss blown fuse or wiring fault

I've got exactly the same problem with the radio always asking for the code after turning the ignition off.
Did you get to the bottom of your issue? Also which fuse would I look for for the live feed?

i dont know if anyone can help.
My radio has been disconnected as battery turned off and now its asking for a code.
its a PU 2471 A(E)
SERIAL NO CL05422050375IE
I have looked through all the paperwork and cant see a code anywhere ? Thought i would ask before going to garage ?

I know a dealer can get the code for you but they charge more...

mrslegs... look for bettyswollocks on the peugeot forums... he can get your radio code for a small fee, also does key codes
