Completely new to this - brought my first 2002 Pug 206CC 1.6 petrol last night - completely in love with it!
This morning however when driving the headlights seem to turn themselves on (no turning the dial required) and if i jiggle the stick they turn off, to solve it driving with side lights on prevents this.
Does anyone have any suggestions or shall i contact peugeot?
You need a new comm2000 unit (the switch cluster inc washer headlight switch) it's a known fault. Go round any breakers yard and see how many 2002 onwards Peugeots have had them taken already.
And no! You can't use the earlier type before you ask.
When requesting help of a technical nature, please give as much detail of the fault as possible along with details of exact model, engine size & type, gearbox, year, mileage, and any relevant work carried out to try to solve the problem to help us help you.
