I really hope someone can help me??? I brought my 206 a couple of weeks ago & love it until I was driving the other day with the roof down I kept hearing a bleeping noise so I pulled up at home & tried to close the roof but the parcel shelf went down the nothing & all it would do is bleep when I pressed the button, finally I managed to get the roof back on manually after watching the videos posted on here but the only problem was that the pull cord for the parcel shelf was missing but I managed to get it over with a wire coat hanger. Now the catches for the boot lid won't lock & I've had to use the manual u shaped clips to keep it from opening & when I now try to use the roof it just beeps & when I'm driving I get a continuous beep also when I open the roof catches located passenger & drivers side roof all I get is a continuous beep???
Really hope someone can help as I love my lil car!!
Hi Lilly and welcome. I would start by checking the operation of all the microswitches. 9 times out of 10 that's what it will be. Details are in the repair sections of the site.
When requesting help of a technical nature, please give as much detail of the fault as possible along with details of exact model, engine size & type, gearbox, year, mileage, and any relevant work carried out to try to solve the problem to help us help you.
Better still, put the details in your signature.
Do I have to take it to a garage to have the switches checked of can I do it myself?? The last couple of days I have learnt so much about these cars but I don't want to break something or make it worse.
You can check it yourself to a certain level, especially for adjustment.
Search the repair section for the detail and there is a good video of how it all works. Let us know if that helps or not.

I really don't know what else to try, i've even tried the thing with the RS fuse & leaving in out for 30 mins ect..... Can anyone recommend a mechanic in or aground the Maidenhead Berkshire area as I have been to 3 and they don't have a clue & I really don't want to have to go to Peugeot as apparently they charge the earth!!!
