Help my knob fell off!

My gear knob(manual)fell off,looks like the rubber underneath split.How does the gear lever unscrew,does the knob/rubber top come off,thanks.

Use some Sikaflex or CT1 to re-attach it.

The rubber is sort of perished I guess it coudn't handle the heat over here.Does the rubber part unscrew?
Right now it really is a 'stick'shift.

New knob required. Rubber not available seperately I'm afraid.

So the knob and the couple if inches of rubber underneath is all one piece?How does it uncrew or does it unclip beneath the skirt?

Not sure if it's the same as our 1.4, but that twisted through 90 degrees and pulled off.
