Is this problem fixable at home? What's the cause? Is it going to cause a lot of trouble later on?
Thanks! - Dave
You're probably right about that, whaich part(s) exactly do you recommend replacing. I want to get searching straight away and see what I'm getting into.Capncol wrote:Don't buy a secondhand clutch. it is false economy. Get a Haynes manual and see what's involved.
Or go to Carpart4less and see what their prices look like. It's actually Euro Car Parts .. but internet only and they offer around 20-25% off. Delivery is also free.Capncol wrote:Get a clutch kit (Plate, Cover, and Release bearing) Yours is the one with hydraulic clutch release. Seen them for around £50 or less on the bay. Try and get a known make such as Valio (OE) Borg & Beck, LUK , Unipart. You can get the Valio from Europart.
