Door locking mechanicsm

Right bout a door for my 2003 206cc got it delivered but where the connector thing plugs into the car at the hinge side is a different connector the guy said it would fit mine but clearly it doesn't lol .... But it's ok cause the wiring loom from the old door is working so smart arse me thinks good idea to put old loom in be door this would work but... But... The locking mechanism at where it plugs in connector spear fit that either so I was just gonna but a new locking thing to plug into is it all done by years or cars?? Cause don't want to buy another bit if it won't fit if all that makes sense??

Problem was resolved got central locking mechanism out of a 53 plate 406 :-)
