chirping noise

chirping noise

recently discovered that when i start the car up and drivin my pug has developed a chirping noise it only seems to happen upon pressing the accelerator !!!
any ideas what this could be .. seems i have constantly got a problem with the car as list of things ive had done are endless to say the least lol .. :scratch:

Just noticed the same also.Its a chirping bird song type of noise.
My car is a 2004 2.0 206cc with a mileage of 52000.
Ex 206 CC'er.
Loved every minute...well nearly!

Yorkielassy, if it from the engine area? Thats sounds like it could be a belt tensioner, or belt itself.
Sound would come from drivers side of engine. Does it increase with engine speed?

Yes,sound is coming from drivers side of engine.It doesn't really get louder with engine speed. Booked car in garage thanks for the reply.
