my roof just wont work at all no beep no sound wen i unlatch

Greetings to every1. I really love my car especially drivin with the top down. The roof always worked but 1 day i tried 2 unlach the roof locks and there was no sound. then proceeded to press the roof switch but the top didnt go down nor was there a beeping sound. the beeping sound was there usually when you tried to down the roof switch with the roof latches still locked, or the boot leveler not cliped on. every thing else is working perfecly. ive checked all the fuses, in and out the car but evrythin looks fine, Please help me as i miss dropping my top.

Sounds like a fuse may of blown. All the symptoms of no power.

I bought my CC with a non working roof with no beeps etc at any stage and like you apparently it had just stopped working. I went through all the micro switches with a circuit tester to make sure that they did actually work. You may find it useful to remove the front 2 and test seperately, I also manually opened and closed the roof to just about halfway and hey presto the roof now operates fully every time (i've tried it at least 30 times). You can find location of all the micro switches elsewhere in the site. Got to be worth a try as it almost doubled the value of the car overnight!!!

ive tried to unlock the roof manualy then closing it then tried to open it normally but nothing happens., i also forgot to mention that when i unlatch the latches there is no bong noise at all. so no bong noise when i unlatch no beeping sound when i press the roof switch. the only time the roof switch beeps when i press it is when i leave the u clips in the boot in manual position. but still no bong sound when i undo the latches. my wife is really sad about the cars roof plis help sum1 please.
