Welcome to the forum.
Open the boot, then open the flap in the side trim panel to gain access to the rear of the light unit. Disconnect the wiring connector from the light unit. Unscrew the wingnut and remove the light unit from the car by pulling it backwards away from the body.
Refitting is the reverse of removal, but do make sure that the light unit seal is in good condition and positioned correctly. (As you withdraw it from the car make a note of how the seal is positioned). A poorly fitted seal will allow water ingress into the boot, so be warned. Make sure the locating pegs on the rear of the light unit are located correctly in the body panel.
Good luck.

Re: Rear NSR lens change
Remember 206CC light clusters are not the same as the hatchback .. the black plastic shield is smaller on the CC. You can cut them down if you are careful or even swop them over but they are held on by a couple of plastic pins which are melted down. You can drill the tops out and unclip the shields if you are careful.
And as a 52 plate you probably has "Phase 2 lights" .. the one with the large single lens and not the split lens off the earlier cars.
(Personally I prefer the phase 2's so have swapped both our CC and Hatchback to these ... nicer look from the rear and the lights are brighter)

My 53 reg had the phase 1 lights. I think phase 2 came with 04 onwards.

Re: Rear NSR lens change
Hi, Grandadmonkey mentions locating pins, and rightly so. There are two on each cluster. One is fairly central and pretty robust. The other though is right at the end of the part of the light that curls away from you if you are holding the cluster with the bulbs facing you. The part of the light that is the furthest forward when the thing is in situ. It points forward. When extracting the light cluster just pull it straight out towards you. Try not to "waggle" it about too much as that front locating pin can snap quite easily.
