Re: forums dead
I think the decals/leaflets are a good way of advertising the site Craig, but I don't agree that the forum is dead, we've had a lot of new owners signing up recently.

Up to you members to keep on posting, because YOU are the forum. Keep the topics fresh and it will flourish
Remember, this is a bit of a niche forum as it is for *one make, one model* car rather than all the models made by a particular brand.
(although we do get posts from owners of other models of the 206)

Yep I've got all the women car jibes too, so much so that when i went to buy mine i told the guy it was for my daughters 18th birthday.....'He's reply "Understandable, most men wouldn't be seen dead in one of these" Wasn't sure whether to hit him or ask him if my bum looked big in this dress!

I third that lol. I too have had the 'hairdresser' mobile banter. But as soon as the weather is decent they all want to go cruising with the top down outside nightclubs lolashton306td wrote:I second that djvoodoo, bought mine about 3 weeks ago got a bit of a ribbin off me m8's but wouldn't go back, and on the flip side the birds love it lol ! but craigs right this is a really quiet forum, i use to be a member of peugeot gti motorsportclub and that forum was a lot busyer. but it's not a bad forum just needs a few more ppl on.

Re: forums dead
I actually see a lot of men driving 206cc's and my hubby loves crusing round in mine. He has a Megane cc but doesn't need much of an excuse to jump behind the wheel of mine, he says it's so much more fun to drive and can't believe how much power it has for such a small car (mines the 2.0).
Also, I'd just like to say that, on behalf of the female members, some of us women do actually know what a forum is and some of us even know where to find a dipstick - including the one under the bonnet!!
