Hi all from Australia. Just bought a 206 cc as a weekend car for fun.
Always admired these. I had a 307 HDI years ago and loved it better than the Golf that followed it.
Got gearbox probs but asking those questions in the general section!
Anyone in Oz say hello!
Also buying the lexia diagnostic kit... if anyone wants to use it.

have you thought about getting your gearbox refurbished here in the uk it costs from £200-£1000 depending on where you get it done and availability of the parts so prob about $300-$1200 in aus

Hi daljames,
Welcome to the wonderful world of 206cc's. Like you, I am a new owner, but having bought a 2005 model a few months ago, I am converted! Australia is made for these cars, so I'm surprised there are so few on the road. Unfortunately, this makes the availability of parts and accessories very limited.
Hope you get your gearbox issues sorted, and start enjoying some topless driving. This forum has been invaluable in providing advice.
